Ultimate Navigation School backs Fix the Fells

Fix The Fells | Latest News | Ultimate Navigation School backs Fix the Fells

Fix the Fells are pleased to announce that we have entered into a partnership with the Ultimate Navigation School. The School will fundraise for Fix the Fells, donating 25% of its profits to us every year - and is also offering special discounts to Fix the Fells' volunteers and supporters.

The School was founded by Lyle Brotherton and Paul Hitchen to provide externally accredited navigation courses for hillwalkers through to Mountain Rescue Teams. Their courses are based on Lyle Brotherton’s Ultimate Navigation Manual, which draws on his many years of experience of teaching Mountain Rescue Teams, Special Forces and Emergency Services worldwide. The School runs courses at various levels - Foundation, Intermediate or Advanced level navigation and basic or advanced satnav. Full details can be found at www.ultimatenavigationschool.co.uk

The Ultimate Navigation School is a charity, registered in Scotland, and all of its net profits will go to four charities who repair and maintain the outdoors. In addition to Fix the Fells, these are the Mountain Bothies Association, Mend our Mountains and The John Muir Trust.

As part of our agreement, the School is offering Fix the Fells volunteers and supporters a special course discount. To take advantage of this discount when booking a course, simply enter the discount code FTF17D on the website booking form.
